Tara began developing her passion for dance at the age of five. She spent her entire studio career at Premiere Dance Academy where she gained experience not only as a dancer but also an assistant teacher. She began her dance career as a recreation tap, jazz, and hip hop dancer before moving into the realm of competition kick line. Throughout middle school and high school she competed with the studio kick team and became a Captain of her team her Junior and Senior year as well as being an assistant for the other competition kick lines. After graduating from Prior Lake High School, she attended the University of Notre Dame. She graduated from college in 2018 with a Bachelor of Arts in Neuroscience and Behavior as well as Spanish Literature and Culture. Tara has just graduated from the Mitchell Hamline School of Law, where she has been applying the hard work ethic and dedication to excellence she learned throughout her dance career to the classroom. This past year Tara completed all of the MSHSL requirements to become Head Coach Certified as well. Tara is excited and honored to be back again for her fourth year with the talented dancers of the New Prague Dance Team.
